Some college hockey predictions:

-Navy will announce a program to begin Fall 2023

-Arizona State joins B1G as a provisional member

-Despite efforts at both schools, Fairbanks and Anchorage end their programs

-Illinois announces a namesake donor for an on campus arena

-UNLV makes some noise about researching viability of a program

One thing I'd love to see happen in college football is much more flexibility in scheduling - or at least not setting dates 35 years in advance. While I don't see P5 schools changing how they are currently negotioting their non-con matchups, I could see the G5 conferences perhaps leaving a date open later in the season or a high-profile non-con game, à la Coastal/BYU (or Bracketbusters!)

Anyways, I also don't think as many programs will be cut as once was feared earlier on in 2020, which is good. I'm hoping some ADs and universities look further into the studies that adding sports may actually be profitable, or at least sustainable. More lacrosse programs in the South (maybe even a Men's SEC program, ahem, Ray Tanner), is something I'd like to see, personally.
