Seriously, almost all journalists (I’m not familiar with your work yet) act like a pack of wolves with no individual self-thought or creatism anymore.

Gundy did what he had to do to save his job but the idea of empowering student athletes to publicly shame their own coaches, university or state is wrong on every level.

There is a right way and a wrong way to do things regardless of how you feel and Chuba was very wrong.

If Gundy is wrong for wearing that t-shirt then so is every athlete for wearing BLM.

It’s all political!!! But bc Gundy’s represented the Right, the media mobs pounced on him.

I do believe this situation likely created a higher bond between Gundy and the team which was poised for a remarkable year already so there will be a happy ending to this story, but it comes at a cost to our society.

Why are sports journos always liberal douchebags? Is it because you were picked on in high school?

OAN is a truth reporting news network and not an 'extremist' outlet like the Red Media paints them as and deceives the public. Coach Gundy should have stood up to Hubbard and explained to him what is exactly troubling him about OAN. Hubbard needs to be educated correctly as he is the one being deceived by the mob.

John, I'd love for you to provide us with ANY article where OAN is reporting the "truth." When you are so far right that Fox News doesn't believe you then you are an illegitimate organization

Just watch OAN's reporting of the news and you will see the difference. I have a feeling you are influenced by the Red Media and have not bothered watching truth in reporting. By the way, Fox news is reporting less truth with the likes of Wallace and Cavuto to mention a few.

I enjoyed the story and found it both humorous in some of the reactions and enlightening in some of the callous responses, particularly by Gundy. Mike is an emperor who has no clothes. He thinks he is a lot smarter than he is and he fell into a blessed situation where his is not particularly responsible for a lot of the success he has had.

For those who take umbrage with that assessment, only one reminder, Alex Cate started ahead of Brandon Weeden.

Thank you, I'm out and I won't be checking the snowflake conservative comments that will be posted here by the Gundy apologists...

Because that is what enlightened erudite "minds" like you are all about...dropping a progressive turd in the punch bowl and running to hide so as not to have to defend your stance...the epitome of a snowflake....BTW i'm available to debate. the sad thing is i was on your side of the argument up until your last line which showed cowardice over intellect.....

First off, liberals are THE definition of snowflakes 🥴

Second, it was well known that Weeden sucked in practice and never performed until the lights came on on Gameday, so the notion that his decision making on QB’s is questionable is moot.

Now be a good sheep and put on your mask and give all your taxes to the govt bc they know how to spend your money better than you. 😷 💸

Great work, Matt Brown. A great piece of investigative journalism to uncover the hypocrisy that is Mike Gundy and the Athletic Department at Oklahoma State University. Mike Gundy needs to go. There is no place in 2020 for using racial epithets, especially coming from a coach to his players.

This entire story is troubling. So sorry to hear that a university as prominent as OSU is stifling free speech. Mike Gundy should feel free and empowered to wear a shirt with the logo of any network he chooses. Saying otherwise is creating a culture of bullying, oppression, and persecution of free thought. There is no illusion of fairness in OSU or local blogs like this in light of this brazen persecution.
